Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Epiphany Art website. By accessing or using epiphanyart.org, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use this website.

This website is operated by Epiphany Art, an international ecumenical community of contemporary Christian artists. Epiphany Art is an informal community group and is not a registered charity or company.

1. Use of This Website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. When using this site, you agree to:

  • Use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others

  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems

  • Not transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material

  • Not use the site in any way that could damage, disrupt or impair its operation

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to this website at any time, without notice, if we believe these terms are being breached.

2. Intellectual Property

Artwork images

All artworks displayed on this website are the intellectual property of the individual artists who created them. Copyright in each artwork remains with the artist at all times.

No artwork image may be reproduced, downloaded, shared, printed, published, broadcast, or used in any form — whether commercially or otherwise — without the express written permission of the artist concerned. If you would like to enquire about using an image, please contact us and we will put you in touch with the relevant artist.

Website content

All other content on this website — including text, page designs, logos and editorial content is copyright © Epiphany Art 2026. This content may not be reproduced without our prior written permission, except for the purposes of personal reference or fair dealing as permitted under UK copyright law.

The Epiphany Art magazine

Each issue of the Epiphany Art magazine is the copyright of the respective authors and contributors. Issues are made available free of charge for personal reading and reference only. They may not be reproduced, redistributed, or used for any commercial purpose without permission.

3. Artwork Enquiries and Purchases

Epiphany Art is not a commercial gallery and does not sell artwork directly. The website provides a platform for member artists to showcase their work and for interested parties to make contact.

Any purchase of artwork is a private transaction conducted directly between the buyer and the individual artist. Epiphany Art is not a party to any such transaction and accepts no responsibility for:

  • The accuracy of artwork descriptions, dimensions, or availability

  • The condition of any artwork supplied

  • Shipping, packaging, or delivery arrangements

  • Any dispute arising between a buyer and an artist

We encourage buyers and artists to agree clearly on all terms — including price, delivery, and payment — before any transaction is completed.

4. Membership

Membership of Epiphany Art is by application and is subject to review by the Epiphany Art committee. Submission of an expression of interest form does not guarantee membership. The committee's decision is final.

The annual membership fee is currently £15. Fees are reviewed periodically. Members will be notified of any changes in advance.

Membership may be withdrawn if a member's conduct is considered by the committee to be contrary to the values and ethos of Epiphany Art.

Epiphany Art has no control over the content of external sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

While we take reasonable care to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees in this regard. Artist information, artwork availability and contact details may change without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Epiphany Art excludes all liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, or consequential — arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its content.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
