Epiphany Art is an international ecumenical community of contemporary Christian artists. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling any personal information you share with us with care and respect. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.


This website (epiphanyart.org) is operated by Epiphany Art and is hosted on the Wix platform. By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Automatically collected data

Like most websites, our site platform (Wix) automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time of visit. This data is used for site security, performance, and analytics purposes.

 

Instagram feed

Our website includes an embedded Instagram feed displaying posts from our account (@ca.epiphany). If you interact with this feed, Meta (the company that operates Instagram) may collect data about your visit in accordance with their own privacy policy. Please see Section 5 for more details.

  • To send you the Epiphany Art magazine

  • Meta (Instagram) — our website includes an embedded Instagram feed. When the feed loads, Meta may set cookies on your device and collect data about your visit, even if you do not have an Instagram account or are not logged in. All third-party providers are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

 

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact form enquiries — we retain correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of any follow-up. We aim to delete enquiry records after two years unless an ongoing relationship exists

  • Magazine subscriptions — we retain your details for as long as you remain subscribed. You may unsubscribe at any time

  • Analytics data — anonymised analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics’ standard data retention settings (up to 14 months by default)

 

7. Cookies

Our website uses cookies — small text files placed on your device — to help the site function correctly, to understand how it is used, and to display our embedded Instagram feed.

The types of cookies used include:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function (e.g. session cookies set by Wix)
