Description:
Three bunches of grapes surrounded by a band of flowers and a band of waves — based on a popular porcelain design from the Ming Dynasty, reinterpreted through a Christian sacramental lens. The grapes, flowers and water resonate with the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist.
Inspiration:
Despite its origins in Ming Dynasty China, Justin found a resonance with the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist — beauty from another tradition speaking an unexpectedly Christian language.
