Description: 

An image of Christ based on the Pantocrator of Manuel Panselinos in the Protaton Church on Mount Athos. The technique of oxidisation gives the surface a material depth that mirrors the theological truth of the title.

Inspiration: 

2 Corinthians 4:6 — the light of Christ is stronger than the darkness of sin. The Pantocrator tradition as a vehicle for this proclamation.
