The title painting for Jennifer's solo exhibition at Peterborough Cathedral. A broken wine glass and broken bread reference the words of the Eucharistic liturgy: "My body broken for you." Fragility as the site of divine gift.
Inspiration:
The Eucharist as the broken body given for the world — brokenness as the shape of divine love.
